Byllee D. Simon joined BSCS in April 1990 as a project assistant. From 1990–96 she worked on several curriculum and professional development projects, formatting manuscript, securing permissions, working with publishers, and organizing teacher workshops. From 1997-2000, she worked in the Marketing, Development and Public Relations Department.
In 2000, she accepted a position in the Associate Director’s office as an Executive Assistant, moving on to the Executive Director’s Office in 2004. After assisting former ED, Rodger Bybee for four years, she was an Executive Assistant to Executive Director, Janet Carlson. In September 2008, she moved to the Communications Division.
Outside of work she enjoys dancing, traveling, the mountains, reading, and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. |
