Cell Biology and Cancer teaches students about the revolution that has taken place in our understanding of cancer in the last 30 years. The inquiry-based student activities involve students in active learning about cell biology and cancer, policy-making, and questions of ethics. Additionally, students learn to recognize the role of science in society and the relationship between basic science and personal and public health.

This curriculum supplement with CD-ROM was funded by the National Institutes of Health Office of Science Education (NIH OSE). It was developed by BSCS in cooperation with the National Cancer Institute, part of the NIH, and Videodiscovery, Inc. of Seattle.
