BSCS and the science education faculty from The Pennsylvania State University are teaming up to co-host the biannual 2011 Sandra K. Abell Institute for Doctoral Students sponsored by National Association for Research in Science Teaching (NARST), a worldwide organization of professionals committed to the improvement of science teaching and learning through research.
The institute will be held at BSCS and will bring together 43 doctoral students and nine faculty mentors, with participants representing seven countries and 32 institutions.
