This curriculum allows students to ask questions, collaborate with peers, and carry out investigations. It also provides teachers with the tools to make biology interesting for students by integrating reading, discussing, experimenting, presenting, watching, calculating, and writing—there is something for every student.

BSCS Science Educator Paul Numedahl will present a teacher workshop titled “Inquiring Into Inquiry.” This hands-on workshop focuses on the practices of science and inquiry science teaching, and how they can be effectively incorporated into the classroom. Teachers will earn two contact hours toward recertification by participating in this free workshop.
