BSCS uses the most recent studies by eminent researchers to provide pertinent/relative professional development for teachers who wish to have their student learn science.
As part of the Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival, BSCS will be providing free professional development for local teachers. BSCS Science Educator Paul Numedahl will present a two-hour seminar titled, "Videocase Lesson Analysis for Improved Teacher Practice" at 4:00 p.m. Elementary teachers will be introduced to a series of research-based teaching strategies through the use of video analysis of actual classroom science teaching. Teachers attending a BSCS session will receive two CDE credits.
