Elementary Programs
BSCS Science Tracks, is a modular program for grades K-5. Students are engaged in inquiry-oriented experiences guided by the National Science Education Standards and BSCS's 5E Instructional Model (engage, explore, explain, elaborate, evaluate). Features include a flexible kindergarten program and four separate modules at each grade level, as well as a Teacher's How-To Handbook. Also at the elementary level is Science for Life and Living, a year-long, K-6 curriculum that helps students learn science as a way of knowing, technology as a way of doing and health as a way of behaving.
