In Doing Science: The Process of Scientific Inquiry, students explore the basics of scientific inquiry, refine their critical-thinking skills, and appreciate the purpose of scientific research.
Doing Science: The Process of Scientific Inquiry comes with a complete set of materials for both teachers and students, including printed materials, extensive background and resource information, and a website with interactive activities. The real-life context of the module's classroom lessons is engaging, and the knowledge gained can be applied immediately to students' lives.
This supplement is distributed at no cost to teachers across the United States. All materials may be copied for classroom use, but may not be sold. This curriculum supplement was funded by the National Institutes of Health Office of Science Education (NIH OSE).
