One-Day Professional Development Workshop at BSCS in Colorado Springs

Drug Abuse, Addiction, and the Adolescent Brain is a brand new curriculum supplement for middle school science focusing on the biology of how drugs affect the function of the brain. Click here for supplement information.
The American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP) has provided funding for a one-day professional development workshop that will enable teachers to learn about and experience the activities in this exciting and informative new curriculum unit.
Dr. David Self of the Department of Psychiatry at Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is a featured interviewee on the video and will participate in this workshop to answer your questions about the neurobiological effects of drugs on the brain.
A limited number of travel awards are available for qualified individuals. Participants will receive a $50 honorarium.
