BiomedWorks teacher honored
 BSCS congratulates high school science teacher Beth Chagrasulis (Lake Region High School, Maine), who was recently named NABT Maine Biology Teacher of the Year 2007.
Beth is currently pilot testing materials for BiomedWorks, an inquiry-based curriculum aimed at introducing teachers and students to the importance of clinical research trials and evidence-based medicine. The BSCS Center for Curriculum Development is a BiomedWorks partner with the Foundation for Blood Research. The project is supported by a Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) from the National Center for Research Resources, a component of the National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services.
