BSCS uses the most recent studies by eminent researchers to provide pertinent/relative professional development for teachers who wish to have their student learn science.
The purpose of the National Association for Research in Science Teaching (NARST) is to promote research in science education and to disseminate the findings of this research to improve science teaching. The Association publishes journals, articles, reviews and/or reports of research that are in harmony with the mission and purposes of the Association. BSCS science educators are members of NARST and have presented at the NARST Annual International Conference for several years. In addition, BSCS science educators have been published in the Journal of Research in Science Teaching (JRST). To see the articles recently published in JRST and to see other BSCS Authors, click here. On this page you’ll find session presentations given by BSCS science educators at previous NARST conferences, all in downloadable PDF form. Click on session titles to download presentation.
Please note: PDFs of session presentations will be posted within two business days of presentations.
