As leaders in science education, we are often presented opportunities to attend workshops that provide an individual or small group of individuals with content from just one of the NACL program components. Over time and with considerable expense, these same individuals might attend workshops that include all of the content from the NACL, but without the benefit of explicit connections among components and the collaborative learning experiences of the district's NACL leadership team.
