This curriculum allows students to ask questions, collaborate with peers, and carry out investigations. It also provides teachers with the tools to make biology interesting for students by integrating reading, discussing, experimenting, presenting, watching, calculating, and writing—there is something for every student.

BSCS Science Educator Dr. Mark Bloom was interviewed this month by Rare Disease Report for an article about the recentlyi-released NIH curriculum module, Rare Diseases and Scientific Inquiry.
Dr. Bloom led the Rare Diseases module project, funded by the National Institutes of Health Office of Science Education (NIH OSE).
